Project Description

FKP Architects, now a part of CannonDesign, engaged Zahner to create a perforated façade that provides required ventilation on the University of Houston-Clear Lake central power plant extension.

The ImageWall landscape image depicting branches from a large oak tree, which is the predominate tree on the University of Houston-Clear Lake campus, is on the east elevation of the central plant expansion.

This Imagewall application includes panels fabricated from Champagne Anodized Aluminum and features Zahner’s Cross-Seam Perf™ technology. The Drop & Lock™ system was the best hardware solution, with the mullions spanning the height of the openings and panels were easily installed by the University’s preferred installer.
