In 2008, Zahner worked with Crawford Architects and Suikang Zhao on the Bartle Hall Loading Dock. The design is a melding of art and architecture, and as such, its facade design is entitled, The Winds of Aphrodite.

The November issue of Architectural Record featured the Hunter Museum addition in Chattanooga Tennessee.  Designed by Randall Stout Architects, the Museum’s surface design includes curvilinear stainless steel forms by Zahner, as well as a custom patina on zinc developed by Zahner.

When a neighborhood in Connecticut required a new water purification facility, its residents were concerned that its appearance would negatively effect the look and feel of the surrounding area. Zahner worked with a team which included landscaping by Michael Van Valkenburgh and an iconic building design by Steven Holl Architects to create a unique building.
