ImageLines draws from Zahner’s unique combination of multiple disciplines including design, engineering, and fabrication that ensures craftsmanship and quality. The end result is a curvilinear perforated metal panel system that is durable, mesmerizing and affordable.
ImageLines uses a one-of-a-kind technology that positions perforations along an array of customizable lines & curves. This new approach adds a painterly alternative to the printing aesthetic so far available in the marketplace.
ImageLines’ “brushstrokes” can be used to emphasize elements of the source image or to highlight architectural features, giving architects and designers new palettes and tools to fostering creativity and embolden new ideas through greater design variety.
With lightweight visualization and modeling tools that make it easy to experiment, ImageLines fuels the drive to innovate and create affordable perforated metal panels that wow clients and make spaces more interesting, engaging, and functional.
The ImageLines pattern generation process includes image sampling, establishing orientation lines, and then creating the perforation overlay along the orientation lines.
