Zinc Clad Headquarters for KCPD Awarded Highest Honor

The recent addition to the KCPD Headquarters in downtown Kansas City has been recognized by the architectural community. Zahner developed a custom zinc cladding system for the Helix-designed KCPD Renovation, which included both interior metalwork as well as an exterior zinc facade.

The Zahner manufacturing plant in Grand Prairie, Texas received two awards from the City of Grand Prairie on October 22nd for the company’s green initiatives. The EPA-certified facility was awarded the Environmental Compliance Achievement Award as well as the P2 Pollution Prevention Award for source reduction. Each of these awards recognizes Zahner’s plan for sustainable growth.
