14 Icons of Kansas City Architecture made with Zahner
Kansas City has a rich architectural history, from the art deco stylings of its Power & Light Building downtown, to the contemporary art centers, museums, and stadiums which define our current era. Earlier this year, we put together a world map of Zahner projects. After populating the map (and there’s still more projects to add), we realized that there are quite a few architectural projects worth talking about in Kansas City.
Australian Embassy Jakarta opens in Indonesia
This month, one of the largest projects completed in A Zahner Company’s 119-year existence was unveiled: the new Australian Embassy in Jakarta. In the making for over a decade, the new state-of-the-art Australian embassy officially opened on Thursday, March 21, 2016.

Chrysalis Update
This week, the Inner Arbor Trust released an update for the foundation’s upcoming Chrysalis stage, pavilion, and sculpture in Merriweather Park at Symphony Woods. The project is on schedule and being developed by a diverse team working to create a meaningful work of architecture and art for the Columbia, Maryland community.
