L. William Zahner Recognized for Entrepreneurship
The University of Missouri-Kansas City’s School of Management recently unveiled the Henry W. Bloch Executive Hall. Inside the hall is an exhibit recognizing twenty of Kansas City’s most historically significant entrepreneurs.
Inductees either have founded or substantially grown a for-profit business and have given back to the community in a meaningful ways. Bill Zahner, CEO of A. Zahner Company was one of the twenty inductees.
The Hall’s exhibits include an interactive touchscreen featuring biographies, educational kiosks, artifacts from entrepreneurs, a QR-code-enabled mobile video experience and words of inspiration from each of the 20 entrepreneurs. Pictured below is an excerpt from Bill Zahner’s video experience:

David Donnelly, Dean of the Bloch School of Management, expressed that the Hall of Fame would provide role models to emulate and its honorees would return to “speak, mentor and share stories of inspiration with students.” Serving as the event’s master of ceremonies was Peter deSilva, president and COO of UMB Financial Corporation and vice chairman of UMB Bank.
