Prominent in its upper westside location in Manhattan, The Cheryl and Philip Milstein Teaching and Learning Center is a new academic hub in the heart of the Barnard College campus. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM), the 128,000 square foot building features a five-floor base plinth which transitions into a slim eleven floor tower that is aligned with the existing STEM facility of Altschul Hall. Zahner supplied custom Baroque™ patinated zinc sheets, one of our custom-developed patinas available in the Zahner Surfaces collection. As Barnard looks to the future, the Baroque surfaces will age elegantly as the College continues in its role as a premier institution for women of intellect, ambition, and vision.
