Zahner to speak at Missouri University at Columbia, Open to Public

Next Wednesday, October 7 2015 in Columbia, Missouri, CEO L. William Zahner will deliver the annual 2015 Healy Lecture at 3:00pm at Jesse Wrench Hall, Memorial Union Auditorium.

The talk is part of the Architecture, Engineering, and Interior Design programs at the University of Missouri, and is open to students and faculty, as well as the general public.

Instead of thinking of his company as a manufacturer, Bill Zahner sees his team as a creative resource to designers and artists. His presentation will show how the firm weaves research and development into the creation of art and architecture, how new shapes and forms become possible by innovating the fabrication of metal and glass. The University is hosting Zahner as part of the Department of Architectural Studies, Engineering, and the College of Human Environmental Sciences at Mizzou. The talk is part of the Marcia Wehrle & Robert N. Healy Lecture Series, which brings international speakers to the college campus. The Lecture is sponsored by the Healy Lectureship in the MU Department of Architectural Studies, and cosponsored by The MU College of Engineering. The school expects an audience of up to 200 people, and is open to the students, faculty, Architectural Studies Advisory Board members and participating professionals, as well as the general public.
