Walker Tower

Walker Tower is a residential high-rise in New York City constructed by architect Ralph Thomas Walker in 1929. For its historic renovation in 2011, Zahner provided custom manufactured architectural details, which can be seen throughout its interior and exterior spaces.  Working under CetraRuddy architects and the JDS real estate team, engineers and fabricators at Zahner assisted the project team's unique design challenges. The original building served as offices for New York Telephone Company, so the design team's challenge was to transform this building into luxury residences for the 21st century and beyond.
