Zahner to speak at the Mid-Continent Student Conference
CEO L. William Zahner will speak about how engineers have the power to transform the built landscape.
This spring, Kansas University is one of eighteen universities/colleges that is hosting the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Student Conferences. Approximately 400 undergraduate (freshman through senior) civil engineering students will be in attendance at this event in Lawrence, KS.
CEO L. William Zahner will speak about how engineers have the power to transform the built landscape. By utilizing highly integrated engineering processes, A. Zahner Company has created of some of the most intricate architectural systems ever imagined. Over the last three decades Zahner has cultivated a team of engineers and fabricators capable of tackling some of the most challenging architectural projects in the world.
The presentation will traverse a path of design development, engineering, design for manufacturing, fabrication and installation of several remarkable projects, and will end with a introduction of the ShopFloor generative design technology that the company began rolling out in 2014 (pictured above). Guests of the banquet will learn how a small, mid-western company has grown to be a leader in the architectural metal and glass fabrication around the world — and where the company is headed next.
