ISC Sculpture Conference coming to Kansas City
See amazing sculpture, meet art professionals, mingle with sculptors.
This fall the International Sculpture Center will be hosting the ISC Sculpture Conference in Downtown Kansas City. The event connects practicing artists and sculptors with arts professionals and industry specialists.
The Conference will take place at the Nelson-Atkins Museum and the Kansas City Art Institute. Offsite locations include visits to Studios, Inc., Monarch Glass Studio, Wickerson Studios, Belger Studios, Zahner, and other arts related venues throughout the City. Experience the Intersection of Art & Architecture
Zahner is a sponsoring partner for the event, and will be offering tour for registered attendees of the Conference. The three-hour visit will include a tour of the facility, presentation of the company’s history and future with artists, and a discussion on art fabrication and sculpture maintenance through partner and affiliate firm Metalabs. The onsite tour of Zahner facility will be followed by a cocktail reception to celebrate the eve of the first day of the Kansas City ISC Sculpture Conference.
The Zahner tour is offered only to registrants of the ISC Sculpture Conference, and will take place Tuesday, October 24 from 3:30 – 5:30pm. The Conference will begin the following day, from October 25-28, 2017.
