Largest NFL Stadium in History Uses Aluminum in Critical Structures
SoFi Stadium, one of the NFL’s newest and most innovative super stadiums, opened with much excitement in September 2020, and it continues to create buzz among architects, contractors and NFL fans alike.
The stadium, designed by HKS, has a canopy made of a translucent ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) membrane at the top and is surrounded by 34,789 perforated anodized aluminum exterior panels manufactured by Zahner.
